Ithaki belongs to Ionian Islands and it is the smallest, after Paxoi. It is located northeast of Kefalonia, where it belongs administratively. It is a hilly island with alterations of scenery.

TRAVEL IN ITHAKI - BY CAR - BY FERRY
In order to reach Ithaki, you can go by car to Patra and then take Kefalonia KTEL buses. Or you can take a KTEL bus to Astakos village of Kefalonia and then by ferry to Ithaki.
Line ships connect Ithaca in daily bases to Kefalonia, Lefkada, Patra, Astakos of Aitoloakarnania and Kyllini.
Vathi and Pisaetos are connected throughout the year to Patra via Sami, while there is a daily course from and to Sami – Pisaetos by ferry. You can also take a ferry from Frikes to Fiskardo and Vasiliki or Nydri.

- BY PLANE
Ithaca has no airport. But if you want to travel by plane, you can take the plane to Kefalonia and then take a ferry to Ithaca.
There is a heliport for private or charter helicopters in Anogi of Ithaca.
